Your role in our team
The general objective of this function is to take entrepreneurial responsibility and ownership for digitalization within the Business Area (BA) Supply Chain

•    Driving the success and growth of the BA Supply Chain‘s digital products and services by effectively managing the digital portfolio and spearheading business development initiatives
•    Support in the development of a comprehensive digital product portfolio strategy for BA Supply Chain; oversees the management of digital products and services 
•    Ownership of governance model for cross selling of digital products within the BA Supply Chain
•    Coordination of future digital product portfolio of the BA Supply Chain; creating synergies across the respective Business Units (BU) and Competence Centers (CC)regarding the development of digital services 
•    Being a product / market-expert and aware of digital market trends, this function also underlines Körber’s vision of technology leadership and communicates this position to the market and customers
•    Ensuring that the digital portfolio supports the BA Supply Chain overall strategy and goal

Support the Head of Digital in the definition of the digital strategy for the BA Supply Chain 
•    Support the BUs and CCs in the implementation of their digital strategy and ensure that these are in line with the overall digital strategy for BA Supply Chain 
•    Aggregating customer requirements and determination of overarching business cases for cross BA digital services & products, in close collaboration with digital Product and Business Development Managers
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the BA Supply Chain‘s market reach and revenue streams
•    Market / product analysis, in close collaboration with R&D, Product Management, Business Development & Sales

  1. Analysis of trends, competitors (incl. pricing strategy), general market developments and (customer) requirements

•    Development of new product ideas; concept creation for Business Development and Sales especially with regards to customer pitches 

  1.     Implementing initiatives to drive business growth, expand market presence, and identify new revenue opportunities
  2. Consider ecosystem approach of the Körber group 

•    Investigation of new business models including external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
•    Closely coordinate with internal stakeholders from Körber Group as well as BU Automation, BU Parcel Logistics, Competence Center Manufacturing Logistics and Competence Center Consulting for joint customer access; proactive communication to internal as well as external stakeholders    

 
Your profile

•    Masters’s degree with technical focus, ideally Computer Science, Business Information Technology or Industrial Engineering (with focus on digital)
•    2+ years experience in digital product management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the technology or digital industry
•    Strong understanding of digital technologies, market trends, and customer needs.
•    Profound strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•    2+ years' experience in Digital Services 
•    Strong technical background in development of products
•    Business fluent English, written and spoken
•    Conceptual competence in product strategy and roadmap design
•    Experience in creating business cases for pricing
•    Thorough understanding of market and technology
•    Experience in market analysis and related methods
