The Software Engineer’s role is to work with other software engineers and consultants that capture requirements, design and develop technical solutions using both existing client software and new technical solutions. A Software Engineer will work with a team as they engage the client to provide complete solutions using warehousing best practices.

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You will analyze existing code to determine functionality and opportunity for enhancement

  • You will program new or enhanced capabilities based on requirement specifications

  • You will test code and prove quality and accuracy before deployment

  • You will commit to delivery deadlines based on estimations and project schedule needs

  • You will take part in research efforts to identify opportunities for and implement new technology solutions when appropriate

  • You will install software products for end users as required

 

Your profile

  • You have a college or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering

  • You have a minimum 2 years work experience with Oracle Database and PLSQL

  • You are proficient in one or more programming languages

  • You have knowledge of current Internet technologies such as HTML, JQuery, XML, CSS and Json

  • You understand coding methods and best practices

  • You understand platforms such as Linux, Windows Server

 

Nice to have but not mandatory skills and abilities

  • You have Warehouse Management System background with knowledge of Receiving, Order Processing, Inventory Management, Picking, Packing, and Shipping

  • You have Blue Yonder WMS experience including Integrator, MOCA, and SQL versions 2009.2 and above

  • You have knowledge of Pharmaceutical serialization and Track and Trace concepts

  • You have experience working with issue tracking systems such as Mantis, JIRA and Service Now
