Account Sales Development Manager

We have immediate openings for great people to join our Blackpool based team in the role of Account Sales Development Manager.

As an outgoing, dynamic, inquisitive individual who thrives on winning that next sale, you will achieve sales targets by developing relationships with existing customers while selling new Körber products and services.
Taking an active role in the sales team you will attend regular sales meetings with customers, internal sales and solutions delivery teams. You will be expected to identify customer pain points, present solutions and prepare sales proposals. You will use Salesforce CRM database to record all sales activity and maintain current information on your customers.
You will represent the customers’ interests within KSCUK, working across the internal teams, ensuring that all relevant departments share, understand and support the Account Strategy.


Your role within the team:

• You will deliver the assigned revenue and profit margin targets through new sales to existing customers.
• You will create account plans and strategy development for a defined group of existing customers to sell additional products and services.
• You will identify new business opportunities by understanding your customers’ strategies and presenting relevant solutions to C level contacts.
• You will where appropriate, mentor the Customer Success Sales Representative on larger, more complex deals
• You will manage business relationships with customers, representing their interests within the business and representing Körber’s interests when customer-facing.
• You will seek out, develop and nurture a network of executive level contacts across Operations, Distribution, Finance, IT departments within your clients
• You will maintain a high level of Körber solution knowledge to compete when necessary, by understanding your customers’ strategy and your competitors’ weakness.

Your profile:

• You will have Relevant experience selling solutions in the supply chain, retail, and logistics industries.
• You will have a minimum 4 years new business sales to existing accounts. 
• A degree in supply chain logistics is highly desirable
• A good understanding of Robotic automation technologies is highly desirable
• You will have Track-record of achieving sales targets.
• You will demonstrate knowledge and experience of the consultative, solutions-led sales cycle.
• You will be customer-oriented, with a passion for selling new things to install base.
• You will have the ability to challenge customers and lead the business agenda.
• You will be fluent in English with strong communication skills, confident presentation skills and ability to construct logical, credible winning arguments linked to customer strategies.
• You will have commercial awareness of ROI models, margin analysis & cost justification statements.
• You will have a positive, can-do approach to challenges and complexity.
• You will have good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Sales Force CRM.
• You will have an organised approach to work, with good prioritisation / time management skills and a disciplined approach / methodology to managing and developing your accounts
