An opportunity now exists within sales for a savvy, results-focused Senior Pre-Sales Consultant.    This role is a trusted advisor for presenting and demonstrating Koerber Supply Chain solutions to clients during the sales process and acts as the technical bridge supporting sales and prospects. This position will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of supply chain requirements analysis, business process consulting and by conducting in-depth product demonstrations. This role is responsible for reviewing proposals, providing on-site consulting and executing sales presentations to prospects. An ability to understand supply chain business process flows with strong technical and presentation skills is essential for success in this role.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the value of Koerber Supply Chain solutions, specific to each prospect’s unique business needs
  • Translate customer requirements into deliverable solutions
  • Field questions regarding associated applications in the areas of ERP, TMS, OMS and other systems impacting supply chain processes
  • Explain implementation requirements, timeframes, and change management
  • Describe implementation resources required of prospects
  • Complete the technical and functional requirements for RFPs
  • Provide technical guidance, solution design assistance, and necessary information to the Sales team to complete solution positioning
  • Demonstrate product capabilities and address technical and architectural questions
  • Accurately, yet positively, address functional questions from Pre-Sales team, prospects and salespeople
  • Identify opportunities to harvest functionality configured for demos into the base Pre-Sales demo environment and App Station
  • Keep abreast of all new products, market trends, future directions and competition for areas of focus

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years’ previous technical consulting experience
  • 8-10 years of supply chain industry knowledge.
  • Warehouse Management (WMS) and Supply Chain Domain expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and Computer Technology or Engineering
  • Ability to travel for work related events
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, dynamic team player with a positive attitude

 

Preferred

  • Microsoft SQL Server Certification
  • Knowledge of Koerber Supply Chain solutions
