Senior Product Manager

Join our team at Körber! As Senior Product Manager you are responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

 

The ideal candidate is someone who has worked within a third-party services provider owned warehouse, managed the labor and equipment associated with the physical warehouse and understands how to configure the software to support the receipt / put away and fulfillment operation for multiple customers all housed in the same physical warehouse and then accrue and bill for these services for each customer that has inventory in the third-party warehouse.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • You define the product strategy and roadmap
  • You work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • You develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • You develop and manage pricing strategy along with delivering a revenue forecast and roadmap
  • You communicate customer requirements with product development and product owners
  • You partner with field marketing team to deliver product management content necessary for product collateral and customer webinars
  • You establish and facilitate product governance
  • You propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • You brief press and analysts and represent Koerber in trade conferences

 

Your Profile:

  • You must have 3-5 years experience working within third party logistics, public and contract warehouse operations leveraging fixed cost, activity-based costing and cost-plus fee structures.
  • You must have experience configuring / implementing supply chain execution software in third party logistics environment, specifically; Warehouse Management, Labor Management, Yard Management, Transportation Management and Parcel Manifesting, Network Design, Mobile Technologies - RF, RFID, Voice, Vision, Printing, Analytics and Reporting (WMS)
  • You have excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
  • You have demonstrated success defining and launching products
  • You have strong organizational, problem solving, planning and time management skills
  • You have proven the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus across inter-organizational teams and the ability to excite an audience through evangelism
  • You have pragmatic Marketing Certification Level IV
  • You have a bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • You must be able to travel 50% of the time
