Internal Communications Manager

Join our team at Körber! We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual to lead our internal communication efforts as part of the global corporate communications team. Through campaigns, the development of our employee magazine, the launch of an employee platform, and beyond, the internal communications manager will help create a thriving culture uniting our staff around the world!

 

The individual will work closely with our executive leadership team, human resources, global marketing teams, finance, our digital experience team, graphic designers, and other internal stakeholders to create an interactive, educational, informative and inspiring community for employees.

 

 

Your role on our team

  • You will plan, lead and execute internal communications strategy aligned with business goals for various roles, experience levels and cultures around the world

  • You will establish and continuously enhance best practices, processes, guide and templates

  • You will create campaigns with clear strategic messaging, translating complex concepts into digestible format

  • You develop and monitor measurable objectives to evaluate and continuously evolve the program

  • You foster an authentic and inclusive work environment by enabling and encouraging two-way communication amongst employees across departments and levels, including senior/executive leadership

  • You empower employees with the utmost transparency, assuring information they need is communicated in a timely manner

  • You work closely with executive leadership and human resources on change management, crisis communication and corporate culture development.

  • You plan, support and lead regionally-focused monthly townhalls and global announcements

  • You serve as the editor of our monthly employee magazine

  • You develop speaking points, presentations and other materials on behalf of senior leaders

  • You work closely with various departments within Körber to ensure consistency in messaging, image, and the overall brand

 

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing or Interpersonal Communication

  • You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience supporting internal communications OR in a related communications field (i.e public relations, journalism) in a large, global corporate setting

  • You have proven ability rolling out an internal communications strategy and its related tactics across cultures and geographies

  • You have experience working with and successfully consulting executive and senior leadership, along with navigating relationships across departments and functions

  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • You have the ability to multitask while working under tight deadlines

  • You are able to build and maintain strong relationships

  • You have the flexibility to work with teams across time zones

  • You have examples working with various formats - email, video, print, graphics, social media and beyond.

  • You are proficient with Adobe Cloud Suite and Microsoft O365

  • You have background rolling out and managing employee engagement platforms and tools such as TinyPulse, Kazoo, Yammer, Kudos, Culture Amp, Worktango, or Motivosity

  • You have knowledge and experience in B2B, along with experience in software/technology

  • Fluency in another language (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese) is preferred, but not required
