Pre-Sales Consultant

Körber has a full-time position available for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. The position is a customer facing role responsible for working with our sales and pre-sales teams in responding to customer and prospect interest related to AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robotics) solution design. This role is a trusted advisor for presenting and demonstrating Körber Supply Chain solutions to clients during the sales process and acts as the solutions design bridge supporting sales and prospects. This position will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of supply chain requirements analysis, business process consulting, designing AMR solutions and by conducting in-depth solution demonstrations. This role is responsible for reviewing proposals, providing on-site consulting, designing AMR solutions and executing sales presentations to prospects. Operational data analysis, warehouse solutions design and presentation skills are essential for success in this role, as well as having the ability to understand supply chain business process flow. Typically requires 5-10 years of supply chain knowledge, preferably including automation and process reengineering.

 

Your role in our team

  • You will conduct data analytics and build AMR solutions to improve customer operations
  • You will collaborate with prospective customers and AMR vendor partners to facilitate data capture in support of solution design efforts
  • You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, prospects and internal resources
  • You will understand prospect’s business priorities, current and future warehouse operations, technology landscape, and key stakeholders
  • You will develop discovery documents that reflect the understanding of prospects’ priorities, landscape, and requirements
  • You will demonstrate solution functionality and capability in relation to prospect needs
  • You will effectively describe and differentiate Körber Supply Chain’s role in the supply chain
  • You will address operational, technical and functional questions from prospects and sales team specific to AMR
  • You will demonstrate the value of Körber Supply Chain solutions, specific to each prospect’s unique business needs
  • You will translate customer requirements into deliverable solutions
  • You will collaborate with AMR vendor partners to ensure solution design efficacy
  • You will develop capability to field high-level questions on the full Körber portfolio
  • You will explain implementation requirements, timeframes, and change management
  • You will support the RFP response process by providing AMR solution technical and functional requirements to help drive sales opportunities to successful completion
  • You will work with Sales and Services team to create and build Professional Services Estimate
  • You will facilitate internal and external transitions to ensure successful knowledge and relationship transfer

 

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Business Analytics preferred
  • You have demonstrated experience with working on automation technology (Goods to Person, AMR, Conveyance, Packaging and other key equipment & materials handling) with in Distribution Centre environments
  • You have gained experience designing automation solutions
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a strong attention to detail, will search for process improvements, and be able to convince stakeholders to adopt the changes
  • You must demonstrate strategic thinking and able to communicate complex ideas to audiences of varying ability
  • You have sales and presentation skills
  • You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have experience designing AMR solutions in the logistics or 3PL industries, highly preferred
  • You have comprehensive understanding of warehousing and fulfillment processes
  • Familiarity with Körber Supply Chain portfolio products
  • You have gained post-graduate education or training
  • You have the ability to travel 30-40%
