Join our team at Körber! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an international cross-functional development team. You will play a critical role in producing and delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable products that solve important, real-world problems.

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You will serve as the guardian for the product architecture assisting more junior developers in evaluating the impact of enhancements on the architecture
  • You will independently design and develop very complex systemic feature enhancements and resolve bugs
  • You will in most cases drive the design of large features considering requirements, diagnosability, performance, and maintainability of the product
  • You will mentor junior developers in processes, technologies, products, design pattners, and coding styles.
  • You will ensure that products developed are of high quality and completed on time
  • You will seek out methods of product development to increase productivity and quality
  • You will actively participate in the Agile process such as daily huddles, estimating, code reviews, and retrospectives
  • You will proactively work on your education to stay up-to-date on new technologies and development practices

 

Your profile

 

Professional Requirements

  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, commercial software in an agile team environment
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have attention to detail
  • You are someone who has a sense of pride, commitment, and personal accountability
  • You behave in a manner to promote a strong team morale
  • You consistently share information with team members to promote a strong cross-functional team
  • You seek out information about new technologies that can benefit your development team and organization

 

Technical Requirements

  • You are skilled and experienced with:
  • C# .NET development
  • ASP.NET
  • Relational databases and SQL
  • Creating and consuming HTTP/REST APIs
  • JSON
  • HTML5, CSS or similar, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar
  • Other highly-valued technical skills include:
  • .NET Core/.NET v5+ and Entity Framework
  • Creating and consuming OData v3/4 APIs
  • Azure DevOps, Git version control, and npm package management
  • An understanding of microservices architecture, including containerization and CI/CD practices
