Körber Supply Chain currently has a full-time position open for a Site Reliability Engineer to work in our Minneapolis, Colorado Springs, Bellingham or remote location. This individual will have a proven record of accomplishment in interfacing with Service Architecture and DevOps teams.

 

This person will work with the Cloud Operations Team; a fast-paced team of highly technical employees tasked with delivering world class SaaS offerings to brand name recognizable customers.

 

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You identify areas of issue, concern or weakness and work cross functionally to deliver solutions to improve the availability, scalability, performance and efficiency of Koerber service

  • You identify problems relating to mission critical services and collaboratively create solutions to aid in recovery automation and avoid problem reoccurrence

  • You work with Development and Delivery to automate response to all sub-critical service issues

  • You engage in capacity planning and review efforts to unify the different areas of delivery in a common goal

  • You report on program progress and status to management and executive boards where appropriate

  • You are an advocate for continuous improvement of service and design

 

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field – or equivalent applied experience.

  • You must have demonstrated leadership ability in a team with diverse backgrounds in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment

  • You interact with multi-national customer base and colleagues

  • You have experience driving proactive technical solutions

  • You are familiar with programmatic language development (e.g. JAVA)

  • You have experience in the design, analysis and triage of large-scale distributed systems

  • You have familiarity with SaaS or Software Cloud architecture, including web services and application services (deployment, scalability, monitoring)

  • You have strong familiarity with Enterprise class Fault Monitoring and Performance Management tools

  • You are able to provide superior customer satisfaction

  • You enjoy intellectual challenges/troubleshooting

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills facilitated by excellent interpersonal skills

  • You are able to manage stress in a productive manner

  • You are able to confidently deal with clients and deliver messages effectively

  • You are able to use critical thinking and logic skills to isolate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

  • You are able to prioritize and escalate where necessary

  • You have strong attention to detail, and are able to manage changing priorities and be focused, motivated and enthusiastic

  • You possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude, and initiative

  • You must be able to pass a full background check
