As a Team Lead in Development, you are responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and support of the development process to ensure that all software meets quality standards. You will interface with software developers, QA, product managers, technical writers, and leaders in Körber. Primary areas of responsibility include leading the development team to roll out initiatives for the purposes of improving the quality of HighJump products, overseeing the release process, and overall team leadership including people management responsibilities.

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You lead a world-class cross-functional development team that includes developers, automation engineers, quality assurance engineers, and technical writers

  • You lead architectural discussions and code reviews

  • You drive your team’s projects and ensure the product exceeds the release criteria

  • You mentor team members in technical and non-technical aspects of their role

  • You refine, document, and be the ambassador for ALM processes

  • You manage the planning of project assignments, performance management, coaching, counseling, and communication

  • You are the go-to person for the product, user experience, programming, and architectural direction

  • You ensure proper resource planning and supervision of projects

  • You partner with the Product Owner to plan each release

  • You lead the tactical planning for each release cycle, including planning for configuration management time, branching schedule, documentation time, and regression testing

  • You set goals and standards for automated testing

  • You lead local, remote, and nearshore team members

  • You identify and implement 3rd party tools that contribute to practical software development

  • You are the scrum master for the team, running daily meetings and other agile functions

  • You ensure QA best practices are being followed during projects and release cycle

 

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (QA, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience

  • You have at least five years of experience working in the development of software

  • You are proficient in Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Knockout or a similar library/framework

  • You are proficient with C# and .NET Core

  • You are proficient in Knockout or a similar library/framework such as Angular/Vue

  • You are proficient with HTTP and REST APIs – experience with OData preferred

  • You are proficient with JSON and JQuery

  • You have experience with npm packages, Kendo UI, relational databases, Git, Agile Tools,

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, under deadlines, and work independently

  • You have Scrum Master certification or equivalent work experience on an Agile Scrum team
