This role can also be filled in one of our lacations in the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal or Austria

 

 

Körber Supply Chain is starting a new unit that will focus on bringing new, innovative solutions for automated order fulfillment to the market. Typically, these would be robotic based goods-to-person solutions such as the solution from Attabotics with whom Koerber has just partnered.

The objective of this role is to develop sales for the new unit, primarily in Europe, and possibly with selected customers in North America and SEA. The work will focus on boosting sales initiatives and activities that ensure the continued, sustainable growth of Körber’s new unit. The sales manager will build an effective sales funnel and make compelling offers in close collaboration with the sales engineering team.

 

 

 

Your role in our team

 

  • Keep track of new developments in the market, for robotics-based material handling technology. Understand the trends and capabilities of this technology
  • Understand customer’s logistics requirements, pains & needs in order to address them through Körber’s offering
  • Responsibility to lead the entire sales- and offer process; from the first customer contact to the handover to project execution
  • Coordinating the sales and concepting work together with the sales support team for the division
  • Prepare and maintain the sales pipeline, on a continuous basis and with strong focus, including customer visits, fairs, sales follow-up and maintaining the customer database

 

 

 

 

Your profile

 

  • Successfully graduated from Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics or other technical studies with bachelors or master’s degree
  • Alternatively, a study in Logistics, Technical Management, or Business Administration (with some technical affinity) can be considered
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience as a sales manager with a proven track record, preferably in material handling industry or a related high-tech field
  • You have the skill and ability to hunt and develop new customer relations
  • Business fluent English. German would be a plus
  • Affinity with Logistics and automated material handling solutions
  • General understanding of CAD systems, i.e AutoCad, Inventor, Sketch-up
