Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be working as part of an Agile software development team. You will be responsible for developing a full working knowledge of the product and testing new features as they are developed. This includes, raising bugs, investigating issues, and suggesting improvements. You will be responsible for analysing databases, building, and testing data visualisations from an end user perspective.

 

Your role in our team

  • You will develop a good understanding of the Körber Data Analysis product.
  • You work closely with the Product Manager to support day to day activities.
  • You assure quality, test new product features, ensuring bugs don’t make it into new release.
  • You analyse data by conducting root cause analysis on raised issues. Test data for inaccuracies.
  • You will gain insights and use your expertise to suggest improvements to the product.
  • You will take ownership of documentation and keep it up to date.
  • You will communicate technical details of bugs and issues to software developers.
  • You will collaborate, question norms, share ideas, thoughts and concerns about the product.
  • You will contribute to meetings including attending stand-ups, planning, retrospectives using your knowledge to drive change and improve the product.
  • You will establish and facilitate product BI governance

  • You are customer focused-  You make customers and their needs a primary focus of your actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computing subject
  • You analyse and understand large datasets.
  • You have a strong interest to improve processes and automate tasks.
  • You have experience developing dashboards using tools.
  • You understand business intelligence concepts at a basic to intermediate level.
  • You are familiar with agile software development methodology.
  • You have experience testing software.
  • You are familiar with databases and can write T-SQL to a moderate level.
  • You have experience with Tableau also beneficial.
  • You work in an Agile environment is desirable but experience of this is not essential.
