Mechanical Service Technician - Fabio Perini

Your role on our team
•You will install and startup new machines and refurbish old machines
•You will make service visits and perform machine audits and machine checkouts at FPP/FPS/FPNA.
• You will be responsible for training material development along with training
• You will build strong and productive working relationships with FPP/FPS
• You will have special projects within FPNA or from our customer base
• You will participate in developing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for selected customers and machines
• You will assist aftermarket sales with tips/mods and give feedback to aftermarket group for new tips/mods for machines
• You will work closely with FPNA/FPP/FPS engineering to resolve issues on machines
•You will be reporting/following up on customer visits made
• You will participate in the pager service
• You will travel up to 65% of the year and be able to leave on instant notice (primarily within the United States and Canada, but may include some travel overseas)
• You will assist with general shop maintenance when in-house at Fabio Perini North America
Your profile
• You have an Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• You have paper converting experience
• You have the ability to improvise and work through problems as they occur
• You’re able to learn a second language to communicate with co-workers (Italian)
• You’re able to understand, troubleshoot and be able to explain electrical schematics or mechanical drawing layouts and many different PLC processors and languages.
• You have a valid driver’s license
