Your role in our team

You work on our Jakarta EE and Microservice based ORCA or LogX4 software platforms and realize distributed real time systems for automated recognition and video encoding of mail or parcel attributes (addresses, labels, codes, franking …). Our solution process between 5 and 200 mail items per second, and scale from a single node system to nationwide recognition networks with more than 1000 nodes.

You are responsible for component requirements engineering, design and implementation for customer projects, based on these platforms:

•    Develop processing concepts for components in workflow systems
•    Design of software components, implementation, and testing
•    Consultancy and support in software development
•    Support with system integration and testing through to customer acceptance.

Your profile

•    You have studied computer science or comparable
•    Expertise for distributed systems, real time processing, and high availability aspects
•    You are an experienced Java programmer with knowledge of Jakarta EE, preferably Wildfly
•    Strength in conceptual work, analytical thinking, and methodical working practice
•    You are familiar with software architecture concepts and paradigms, and you have outstanding skills in analysis and specification of components and their interfaces
•    Competent knowledge with OO development, design patterns, UML, and corresponding tools
•    You are experienced with Windows and its tool landscape. Linux knowledge welcome
•    Languages: English, business fluent in spoken and written. German language knowledge is welcome.

•    Experience with microservice architectures, Kubernetes, cloud and on-premises solutions
