We are looking for an experienced SPS Software Expert to lead software engineering and commissioning activities across our international projects.

Your role in our team

• You will act as the SW & Commissioning Lead Engineer for international sorter and conveyor technology projects.
• You will lead international project teams and take ownership of software engineering activities from concept development to commissioning.
• You will create software concepts for customer-specific functionalities based on our software libraries and engineering standards.
• You will support project planning activities and ensure compliance with established tools, processes and quality standards across international project teams.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement and further development of our software libraries and engineering solutions.
• You will ensure software engineering activities are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality requirements while supporting project calculations and proposal activities.

Your profile

• You have a Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in software development and software concept design within industrial automation, logistics or warehouse automation environments.
• You have expert knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, Failsafe and WinCC.
• You have experience with industrial communication systems such as Ethernet and Profinet, as well as safety-related applications.
• You have proven commissioning experience and have successfully led teams on-site during project execution.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in international and multicultural environments.
• You are fluent in English. German language skills are considered an advantage.
• You are willing to travel internationally for approximately 30% of your working time.
