Junior Product Developer (m/f/d) logistics software
Your role in our team
- In our Product Development team, you will implement professional software solutions for managing and planning our customers’ logistics processes
- You will conceptualise and implement modern web and desktop applications and complete subprojects independently
- You will develop modular REST services based on the Spring Framework and corresponding HTML front ends in the form of a single-page application
- You will perform quality assurance for technical solutions through module, function and integration testing
- You will support our project teams when there are technological and/or technical issues
- You will work in international teams
- As you gain experience, you will increasingly take on duties for conceptualising solutions and advising project teams
Your profile
- You have a university degree in computer science, mathematics or physics or a comparable qualification; or you have successfully completed a traineeship in IT and gained prior experience in product development
- Initial knowledge of software development or an ability to adjust to a new development environment rapidly
- Knowledge of relational database systems
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, JavaScript and/or TypeScript) and HTML5/CSS, JQuery and/or JSON environments is not required, though would be advantageous
- Experience with an agile development process and experience with development tools (svn/GIT, Jenkins, etc.) is desirable
- Logical and structured way of thinking, teamwork skills and excellent German and English round out your profile
