  • Support the Körber AG strategic planning process, collaborate closely with the other marketing functions, and align with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the transition from engineering-centric to market centric go-to-market to include capabilities like primary and secondary market research, market and competitive analysis, win and loss reporting, positioning & messaging, etc.
  • Define go-to-market strategies and tactics for new and existing products and services, leveraging global programs and activities.
  • Manage the launch activities around the different competencies in close liaison with the key stakeholders
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Build a strong process for lead and opportunity management.
  • Create installed base marketing strategies and activities to ensure customer retention, reference-ability and solution penetration.
  • Design compelling sales tools (e.g. demo scripts, multimedia/augmented reality enabled demos and presentations) and collateral (e.g. brochures, data sheets, infographics, little book series, videos, C-level drawings, etc.) to increase the sales readiness.
  • Develop content and provide input to influence the perception by consultants, analysts and journalists. The Director will be one of the Supply Chain spokespeople.
  • Maximize synergy with the global shared services teams (digital experience & innovation, product marketing & strategy and corporate communications & brand) to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Perform business impact analyses of marketing assets to drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train and retain a team of 6 direct reports.


Required Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant business, marketing or technology related to Körber’s solutions
  • At least 5 years of experience in large enterprise organization, selling value-add products and services to high-end customers.
  • At least 5 years enterprise B2B marketing experience focusing on the various marketing activities outlined above.
  • Experience in the logistics / supply chain industry is a big plus; more important is the ability to quickly absorb new information about our technologies and solutions and apply it to select target markets.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple ongoing activities, meet aggressive timelines and deliver clear results to ensure respect of marketing across the organization.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, and ability to work within an international environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to present strategic information to large groups of professionals inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to strategically plan, develop and implement tactics and activities in multiple locations.
  • Ability to lead independently, while working collaboratively with all levels of employees and customers in a global matrix management environment.
