As a Technical Support Specialist - Warehouse Control System (WCS), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers’ logistics processes, from troubleshooting and incident resolution to process optimization.

Your role in our team

• Supporting existing customers: You provide our customers with 2nd- and 3rd-level support and assist them with system enhancements and optimizations (change requests).
• Incident resolution: When issues occur in our customers’ applications, you quickly identify suitable solutions and workarounds to restore smooth operations.
• Root cause analysis: For recurring issues, you work with the team to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
• Teamwork: You collaborate closely with colleagues from project consulting and software development to develop innovative solutions together.
• Customer relationship management: You maintain and further develop strong relationships with our existing customers.
• On-call support: As part of our team, you also help resolve critical issues outside regular office hours, ensuring reliable operations for our customers. On-call duty is shared within the team and may cover up to 24/7 service periods on a rotating basis.

Your profile

• You have a good understanding of logistics processes in automated warehouses.
• You have experience supporting a warehouse management or warehouse control system, for example through troubleshooting in a control room or as part of an internal or external support team.
• You have experience working with relational databases and database queries, such as Oracle, SQL or MySQL.
• You have knowledge of source code analysis and/or development using an object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C#.
• You have strong analytical skills, are open and communicative, and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You have a solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer needs.
• You are fluent in English.
