The Director of Site Management and Installations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of site management and installation projects within the organization. This individual will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Your role in our team
- You will develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- You will coordinate and manage all phases of site management and installation projects from initiation to completion.
- You will oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of installation subcontractors
- You will conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- You will lead and mentor a team of site managers, supervisors, and installation technicians.
- You will foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, ensuring project and company needs and expectations are met.
- You will serve as support and sounding board to VP Operations for project estimates and resource planning.
- You will communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
- You will manage client escalations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- You will implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- You will develop and maintain safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- You will conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any issues promptly.
- You will foster a zero harm culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
- You will develop and manage project budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost control.
- You will optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- You will identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
- You will prepare comprehensive departmental and/or project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and risk assessments.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- You will ensure compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in site management, installations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- You have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- You have experience managing subcontractor relationships
- You have strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and vendors.
- You have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- You have proficiency in project management software and tools.

This full-time, exempt role offers a hybrid work setting. This role will primarily work in an office setting but will also be required to visit project sites regularly. The role may involve travel and working outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines. The travel expectation is between 25% and 50%.
