Your role in our team
-
You will possess strong mechanical, electrical and systems experience, and be able to read blueprints and mechanical / electrical drawings

You will perform maintenance, commissioning, service, installation, software loading and network configuration of material handling equipment

You will install and commission equipment and provide training to end users
-
You will interact with customers on a professional basis, communicating with customer regarding service and product issues
-
You will troubleshoot installation issues as needed
-
You will conduct daily site and equipment safety checks, performing Job Hazard Analysis and daily status reporting to management

You will travel up to 80%, at a minimum to customer facilities to install, diagnose, commission and repair equipment

You will perform mostly mechanical & electrical tasks: to include, equipment installation, software / network configurations & upgrades, trial runs, repairs and overhauls

You will provide remote support via phone calls, email to other Field Service Engineers, management, engineering, and client, as needed.

You will promote company service and support programs and identify additional customer care opportunities.

You will enhance the company’s competitive position and assist ensure relationships are maintain with key customer accounts

You will perform other duties as needed to support project installation and management
Your profile

You have at least five (5) years of experience on installation and maintenance in an industrial environment

You have at least five (5) years of experience on installation and maintenance in an industrial environment
-
You have a technical aptitude, in both mechanical & electrical areas, with installation & controls theory knowledge and understanding

You are able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, and schematics
-
You have excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and maintain effective customer relationships and collaborative business relationships

You have computer skills proficiency in MicroSoft Software products

You have solid presentation (written and verbal).

You have strong customer-centric orientation

You have a minimum High School Diploma or GED
- You are able to travel regularly—80% or more. Travel may include weekend and overnight work.
