Your role in our team
- You will have experience in the design of material handling equipment such as conveyor, bulk feed equipment sortation systems, order fulfillment machinery, and machines with similar complexity
- You will have experience collaborating with Sales and Product owners to convert concept level requirements into detail equipment designs and mechanical fabrication and assembly packages
- You will have experience applying and incorporating material handling technologies into designs based on product requirements
- You will have experience collaborating with Electrical and Control Engineering workstreams during product design and equipment selection
- You will have experience working with material suppliers and manufacturing to identify and support design and equipment procurement activities
- You will have advanced level experience in the use of premium 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro-E, Solid Works, etc
- You will have experience in the creation of detailed, accurate technical data packages including manufacturing assembly drawings, bills of material, product manuals, and integration guides
- You will posses a working knowledge of product requirements, constraints, and budgets
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience
- You have a proven track record of expertise in the mechanical engineering field
- You have experience with product design
- You have strong collaboration skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit
