The Product Manager supports Körber’s Material Handling Equipment (MHE) product portfolio by contributing to product lifecycle activities, market analysis, and internal coordination efforts. The role helps translate customer needs into actionable requirements and supports activities such as product launches, updates, and end-of-life transitions. This position works closely with senior product leadership, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align product roadmaps with business goals. Responsibilities also include gathering product management inputs, understanding warehouse automation and industrial equipment, and coordinating across functions to connect technical development with customer and market feedback.
Your role in our team
- Support lifecycle management of Körber’s MHE products — assisting with business case development, product launches, sustaining activities, and end-of-life transitions.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Gather, document, and prioritize customer and stakeholder requirements to inform product enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and project deliverables.
- Assist sales, solution design, and marketing in positioning products effectively and supporting go-to-market initiatives.
- Conduct research to track industry developments and provide input on opportunities for product differentiation.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to collect feedback and validate product performance.
- Support pricing analysis, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to product training, collateral, and tools to enable the sales and commercial teams.
- Monitor product performance metrics and prepare reporting to inform decision-making.
Your Profile
- Strong understanding of product management principles and practices.
- Ability to gather and analyze customer requirements and translate them into actionable inputs.
- Solid organizational and analytical skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across technical and commercial functions.
- Business acumen with experience in supporting pricing, forecasting, or product financials.
- Self-starter with a customer-focused mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to peers and stakeholders.
- Experience working in collaborative environments with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective communicator with ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or related roles (preferably in automation, material handling, or capital equipment).
- Exposure to lifecycle management, business case development, or go-to-market execution.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation market dynamics, customer operations, or competitive landscape preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20–25% for customer engagement, site visits, and industry events.
