The Financial Analyst supports the financial management of multiple projects and products by overseeing order intake, EAC forecasting, and periodic financial projections. This role is responsible for analyzing project costs, monitoring cash flow, and delivering accurate financial reporting and variance analysis. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, advanced forecasting capabilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and contract terms

 

Your role in our team

  • You will serve as a financial partner to project and product teams, ensuring financial planning and execution align with organizational goals.
  • You will manage financial structures for assigned projects, including order setup, budgeting, billing, and cost control.
  • You will review and interpret contract terms to identify billing milestones, obligations, and potential financial risks.
  • You will analyze actual costs against budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • You will maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) and develop rolling forecasts for revenue, gross profit, EBIT, billings, and cash flow.
  • You will identify and communicate variances, offering data-driven recommendations to mitigate risk and enhance performance.
  • You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • You will perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and management reporting.
  • You will prepare analyses and documentation to support internal and external audits.
  • You will monitor invoicing and collections to maintain contract compliance and optimize cash flow.

 

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • You have 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or program control.
  • You have strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost management, and financial controls.
  • You have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining financial forecasting models for complex, long-term projects.
  • You are skilled in profitability analysis, variance evaluation, and performance measurement.
  • You have the ability to synthesize and interpret complex financial data to produce actionable insights.
  • You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and data reliability.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • You are familiar with interpreting and applying contract financial terms and conditions.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formula creation.
  • You are proficient with ERP and AR systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, with SAP experience preferred.
