The Project Manager leads or supports integrated automated material handling projects across North America. Oversees administrative, contractual, technical, and financial components to ensure alignment with organizational goals, performance specifications, project schedules and budgets. Manages cross-functional teams and subcontractors, while being accountable for delivery outcomes, risk mitigation, budget performance, and jobsite safety.

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You will work independently under the direction of the Senior Program Manager to manage assigned projects across the full lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communications
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and subcontractors, establishing priorities, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration across departments
  • Ensure system designs align with contractual and technical requirements by coordinating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Develop, maintain, and control the project master schedule to ensure timely project execution and completion
  • You will monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports (daily, weekly, or monthly) to stakeholders as required
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and project participants, maintaining clear and consistent communication
  • Maintain responsibility for the project budget and financial performance, ensuring delivery within or below financial targets while managing risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage contract changes and required approvals, identify opportunities for process improvement, provide leadership and guidance to project teams, and perform other duties as assigned

 

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with increasing responsibility and complexity in automation, parcel, warehouse, or related industries; willingness to travel up to 50% as required
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools and ERP/project management systems, with strong project planning and execution capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously, including large-scale projects (>$10M) or several small to mid-sized projects (>$1M)
  • You have experience coordinating subcontractors and managing vendors to support successful project delivery
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and produce clear, concise documentation and status reports
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail, including prioritizing tasks, tracking deliverables, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality outcomes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in complex environments; experience working with cross-functional or international teams preferred
