Your role in our team

• You will develop control system designs, develop, deploy, & commission Programmable Logic Controller code, and develop graphical user interfaces for material handling systems.
• You will test and emulate code functionality prior to on-site deployment and testing.
• You will troubleshoot PLC code and electrical equipment functionality on-site during commissioning and testing activities.
• You will collaborate with Electrical Engineering resources to support control network architecture requirements and design.
• You will define electrical device requirements for system control.
• You will support estimates for complex module development, and system commissioning requirements.
• You will perform reviews of complex customer standards & specifications and other documentation to determine system requirements.
• You will develop recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• You will complete the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem, and system test procedures.
• Your work location will be 2700 Esters Blvd. Ste 200B, Dallas, Texas 75261
• Your working hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week

Your profile

• You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field and Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation, required. Accepted alternative Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field and Five (5) years’ experience, required. 
• You have required experience with the following: Rockwell automation PLC programming including GuardLogix; Industrial machine control development and troubleshooting; Ethernet/IP network architecture; Interpreting electrical schematic drawings; understanding of HMI programming.
