Körber Supply Chain LLC is seeking a dynamic Program Manager who will spearhead the execution of large-scale projects from conception through to completion, ensuring alignment with client specifications and organizational goals. This role demands extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, exceptional leadership, and a proactive approach to managing complex, technical projects in a dynamic environment.

 

Your role in our team

  • You will engage closely with Contract Managers, Project Controllers, Lead Engineers, and core project teams to meticulously define and detail the project scope and tasks derived from customer requirements, guaranteeing deliveries that are both timely and within budget constraints.
  • You will act as the principal contact for all client interactions, effectively managing and disseminating essential project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test plans, to ensure clarity and compliance with client expectations.
  • You will assume responsibility for the interpretation and management of contract specifics and modifications post-sale, liaising with the Contract Manager to navigate complexities and align with legal and financial frameworks.
  • You will monitor and manage the project’s financial and temporal elements, addressing any deviations or unforeseen challenges proactively to maintain project integrity throughout its lifecycle.
  • You will coordinate the handover process to Customer Service, ensuring a comprehensive and agreed-upon close-out procedure that satisfies both internal standards and client expectations.
  • You will collaborate with Site Managers and the EHS&S team to enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all personnel and compliance with environmental standards.
  • You will conduct in-depth evaluations at project milestones, capture key learnings, and synthesize findings into actionable reports that contribute to continuous improvement.
  • You will oversee the identification and mitigation of project risks, working in conjunction with appointed risk owners to develop and implement effective strategies and maintain project stability.
  • You will direct and optimize the allocation and utilization of project resources, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances team capabilities and overall project performance.
  • You will manage issue escalation processes effectively, ensuring rapid resolution by coordinating with appropriate line organizations and maintaining project momentum.
  • You will organize and chair essential project meetings, maintaining a robust system of record for action items and decisions, and ensure consistent updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • You will maintain rigorous control over project finances, delivering precise forecasts and managing costs to align with budgetary expectations.
  • You will continually develop and refine the Project Execution Plan, adapting strategies and processes to meet evolving project needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • You will ensure all project specifications, especially for third-party components and resale items, are meticulously detailed and managed, facilitating effective negotiations and communications with suppliers.
  • You will translate complex contractual technical requirements into structured project deliverables for the engineering teams, overseeing design and implementation to mitigate any potential project disruptions.
  • You will maintain the highest quality standards across all project deliverables, adhering to established engineering and process quality guidelines to deliver superior project outcomes.

 

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree or professional certification may be advantageous.
  • You have over 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in handling complex material handling systems.
  • You have demonstrated ability in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • You have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
  • You have a commitment to excellence in client service, risk management, and safety compliance.
