Your role in our team

  • You will manage integrated automated material handling projects for our Express Parcel clients in North America.
  • You will lead administrative, contractual, technical, and financial aspects of the projects.
  • You will lead and organize the project team and develop effective relationships.
  • You will ensure that the integrated system design meets all contractual performance and technical specification requirements.
  • You will manage the project master schedule to achieve timely completion of the project per our contract, holding both internal and external resources, including the client, accountable for their commitments.
  • You will report project status on both a weekly and monthly basis.
  • You will act as the primary interface with the customer as well as key stakeholders.
  • You will lead a multi-disciplined team consisting if both internal resources as well as sub-contractors; managing conflict, establishing priorities, coordinating many concurrent and sequencing activities. In addition you will develop the people associated with the team, promote effective interactions among many departments, and provide the project team with leadership.
  • You will manage risks and seek opportunities.
  • You will manage overall project budget, with the goal of concluding project at or below financial plan.
  • You will exercise overall profit responsibility for the total project.
  • You will perform other duties as required by management and as required by the demands of current projects.

 

Your profile

  • You have a minimum Eight to Ten (8-10)+ years of Project Management experience demonstrating increasing levels of project value and complexity in the Parcel and/or Warehouse Automation space.
  • You have executed projects in excess of $100M
  • You have a BS Degree in Engineering or similar technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • You have experience managing a complex group of stakeholders within complex project environments.
  • You have strong subcontractor management experience
  • Experience working for an international organization is a plus.
  • You have experience successfully operating in a cross-functional team environment
  • You have excellent organization skills, detail oriented and the ability to work with a high work load with interruptions and deadlines in an open environment.
  • You are able to travel up to 50%, and as warranted based upon project needs.
