Your role in our team

• You will participate in the design, development, testing and commissioning of automated baggage and material handling systems.
• You will work on electrical schematics and panel designs (Controls Panel Design, Power Distribution Panel Design) using AutoCAD electrical, Eplan 8.
• You will be responsible for Network design using Profinet, Profibus, ASi bus, ControlNet, DeviceNet, EthernetIP.
• You will develop Scripts using Visual Basic, Python, etc.
• You will be responsible for PLC architecture design.
• You will be responsible for PLC programming with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or Siemens Simatic S7.
• You will develop HMI using SiemensWinCC or Rockwell Factorytalk View (faceplates for motor controls, dynamic. equipment status graphics), alarm management, and trending in HMI and SCADA applications.
• You will write project documentation (e.g. Description of Operations, Test Plans).
• You will perform testing using emulation tools like Emulate 3D, Automod.
• You will be responsible for field commissioning and startup of Baggage Handling and Cargo & Parcel Systems.
• You will provide customer support.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Automation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You have 5 years of work experience in practiced field.
• You are fluent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Access) and Windows operating systems.
• You are willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
• You have a working knowledge of programming in C / C++ / C#.
• You have working knowledge of VB, Access and SQL Server would be a definite asset.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
