Service Technician (m/f/d) Automation Technology for Technological Plant Service
Your field of responsibility
- You will diagnose and rectify faults in parcel and letter distribution systems (HW and SW) using telephone and remote support
- You carry out fault clearance operations
- You will guide technicians in the field in fault diagnosis and elimination
- You will carry out technological plant services such as inspections, maintenance and repairs at our customers
- You will diagnose weak points and independently solve product, system and plant malfunctions (HW and SW) with a focus on logistical processes, operating technology, material flow and plant interfaces with the integration of third-party products (e.g. use of service and diagnostic tools)
Your qualifications
- You have completed vocational training as a technician in the field of mechatronics/electrics/computer science, a technical degree or a comparable vocational qualification
- You are characterized by your enthusiasm for technology as well as the solution of technical problems and your experience in difficult projects
- Ideally, you have good PC and Windows operating system knowledge as well as experience with Simatic S7 (STEP 7 / TIA-Portal)
- You are familiar with industrially used communication systems (e.g. Profinet, CAN bus, TCP/IP, ...) and ideally have knowledge of distribution and sorting systems
- You are willing to take part in changing shifts and international business trips (approx. 20%)
- You have a good command of German, French and English
