Your role in our team 

As a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new an innovative products and solutions for our customers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Research, design, develop and customize mechanical systems and components that fulfil product/customer specification and applicable standards and regulations.
• Identify solutions to improve and optimize products.
• Maintain accurate records of design iterations and changes.
• Promote and encourage the incorporation of new technological trends that make the operation of the area more complete, effective, efficient and profitable, ensuring and improving the service provided to customers.
• Define, plan and execution of test plans. 
• Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.
• Estimate cost and budgets for new designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within larger projects.
• Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods.
• Ensure compliance with the company's policy for quality, environment, and safety. 

Your profile 

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in similar positions
• Proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D design
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Calculation and dimensioning
• Solid English skills (verbal and written)
• Autonomous, self-motivated and proactive attitude
