Your role in our team

We are looking for a junior Automation Engineer with Computer skills to join our R&D department.

You will receive training to master our powerful tools, however, it is important to have already acquired knowledge in PLC programming and the ability to understand and create electrical diagrams. We value that you are interested in developing a career in the automation area.
    
Key Responsibilities
As part of the R&D department, you will:

• Work closely with the mechanical team to integrate hardware and software into the development of new products;
• Create electrical diagrams and cabinet layouts for new products;
• Develop PLC software and HMI scenes according to group standards for our products;
• Establish parameter sets for electronic equipment and carryout validation tests ensuring its correct operation;
• Perform factory tests to new equipment;
• Participate in product standardization and maintain our product portfolio updated;
• Ensure that new products fulfill their application, meet system design requirements and customer needs while being cost effective; 
• Create configuration worksheets for products to decrease the time needed for project development;
• Prepare operation and user support manuals;

Your profile

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Automation Profile;
• Previous contact with PLC programming preferable with Siemens TIA Portal;
• Ability to understand and create electrical diagrams;
• Experience with frequency inverters parameter setup;
• Hands on commissioning automation equipment;
• Knowledge, not mandatory, in programing languages such as C#, C(++), Python;
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken);
• Experience in agile development methods;
• Systematic and customer-oriented;
• Self-motivated, creative, proactive and team-spirited
