Mechanical Site Supervisor

  

Your role in our team

Responsible for overall management of all mechanical installation activities on a project, ensuring the best execution with minimal defects in order to guarantee project compliance and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the planned work of the employees and subcontractors of the respective area, taking into account the defined in RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement);
  • Report unforeseen situations and issues reports on the development and completion of the work, attaching a list of electrical problems arising from the installation or work of subcontracted companies;
  • Continuously verify and monitor the work of the mechanic's installation team ensuring the quality of the installation and compliance with the specific requirements and regulations (internal and external);
  • Verify that all necessary mechanical testing is carried out, completed and documented in a timely manner and that all test documentation is submitted to the relevant departments on time;
  • Internally seeks technical advice whenever necessary;
  • Guarantee the completion of all installation activities on a project are within budget or better whilst highlighting any potential additional work or delays to the project timeline;
  • Mark up all of the mechanical drawings with any modifications that have been carried out on site and ensure that these are submitted back to the respective mechanical design engineer;
  • Assist the Site Manager and H&S Advisor to ensure that safe systems of work are employed at all times on site in order to achieve zero accidents;
  • Provide First Aid assistance when needed, on site;
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships both internally and externally;
  • Support the timely calibration of any special tools with the specialist equipment team leader;
  • Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods;
  • Certify compliance with the company's policy for quality, environment and safety;
  • Support the development of reports and management information analysis".

 

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar positions, ideally in industry, logistics, or civil constructions areas;
  • High school preferably and / or Technical and vocational qualificiation in mechanic or electromechanical;
  • Formal qualification in health and safety management preferrential;

           a) First Aid in Workplace qualification;

           b) Driving lice.
