Your role in our team

Market & Business Focus

  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking for intralogistics products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain product roadmaps in alignment with the global product strategy.
  • Develop and manage business cases, including target costs, ROI and lifecycle profitability.
  • Define product value propositions and align go-to-market strategies with Sales and Marketing.
  • Coordinate product pricing and market positioning.
  • Monitor product financial performance, including revenues and margins.

Partnerships & Make-or-Buy

  • Conduct make-or-buy analyses based on strategic and economic criteria.
  • Identify suitable external partners and support the establishment of strategic partnerships.
  • Define the division of responsibilities between Körber and partners and ensure successful product integration.

R&D Alignment

  • Translate market and business requirements into clear technical requirements for R&D.
  • Prioritize development initiatives based on business impact and customer value.
  • Act as the voice of the market towards R&D.
  • Ensure products are designed with lifecycle costs, serviceability and sustainability in mind.
  • Ensure solution completeness by aligning product functionality with controls, WCS software and digital twins.
  • Ensure product fit and compatibility with other Körber solutions and the wider portfolio.
  • Drive portfolio synergies by promoting common technologies across different robotic applications.
  • Manage product lifecycle decisions, including upgrades, extensions and end-of-life.
  •  
    Collaborate closely with Product and Portfolio Management, R&D, Sales, Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain and Purchasing.
  • Work with LBU and regional management to align product strategies and business priorities.
  • Coordinate with the BA Supply Chain Digital team and relevant Group Innovation & Technologies (GIT/AIR) teams and stakeholders across other Business Areas.
  • Partner with Execution, System Engineering and Customer Service to ensure successful implementation and lifecycle support.
  • Manage relationships with third-party technology providers and strategic partners where relevant.
  • Engage with business associations, universities and customer innovation teams to identify market trends, technologies and future opportunities.

Collaboration & Interfaces

  • Work closely with R&D, Sales, Strategic Marketing, Execution, Service and other Portfolio Managers.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of market requirements into R&D projects.
  • Support innovation and eco-design initiatives by incorporating customer and market needs.
  • Develop the innovation roadmap and validate new concepts with customers.
  • Ensure the availability of high-quality sales support materials and training.
  • Ensure the availability of effective design and configuration tools for solution design and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with Group Innovation & Technologies and the AIR programme on relevant robotics initiatives.

Your profile

 

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record in Product Management, Product Strategy or Business Development, ideally within a technical environment.
  • Strong experience in material handling, intralogistics, automation or related industries, with a good understanding of automated material handling solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to develop ROI cases, define pricing strategies and assess lifecycle costs and profitability.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, technical projects and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
  • Comfortable working in international, cross-functional and cross-cultural environments, collaborating with stakeholders from board level to operational teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, structured and results-oriented, with a proactive, hands-on approach and strong commitment to delivering results.
  • Able to work under pressure, take ownership and operate independently, while being a strong team player.
