Mains Responsabilities

• In this position, you will be responsible as a technical lead engineer for SPS SW Engineering and the commissioning for our cross-belt sorters and other products on our international projects.
• You will develop project-specific SW functions based on an existing SW library and will be responsible for SW implementation and commissioning.
• In doing so, you will ensure the integration of the PLC Standard Modules and the use of the engineering tool chain in the project
• For the further development of the project planning processes and the SW Library, you are in close contact with our development department.
• During the design phase of a project, you describe the planned software functionality and coordinate interfaces with third parties.
• You will be responsible for the implementation of the software engineering within the planned cost, quality and schedule framework and support also the bid manager during the calculation.
• You will be responsible for commissioning on the customer's site in accordance with our standards, through integration and customer acceptance.

Your profile

• You have trained as a master electrical engineer with professional experience or have successfully completed a master’s degree in electrical engineering and automation.
• You have many years of experience in professional team leadership in PLC project engineering and commissioning for automation systems, as well as in programming with TIA and failsafe applications.
• You have several years of experience in the field of technological logistics systems or, alternatively, automation systems from industry.
• You have experience in commissioning and very good knowledge of the SIMATIC HW product range SPS S7-TIA.
• You are also proficient in common bus systems such as Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS-I Bus, CAN Bus
• We require very good English and German skills as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team for this position
• A willingness to travel to our projects of about 30-40% is no problem for you.
