To strengthen our team, we are seeking a new team member for our Maia / Porto office at the earliest possible date.

Your role in our team

• Provide comprehensive legal support to companies of the Körber Business Area Supply Chain on all business and contract law issues – in particular, reviewing, revising, drafting and negotiating all contracts relating to the operational business. The scope ranges from supporting companies in mechanical and plant engineering to digital, IT and software firms
• Legal and organizational management of commercial law matters both domestically and internationally.
• Support the different businesses of the Körber Pharma Business Units establishing successful collaboration with business partners worldwide with a strategic focus on the EMEA region
• Work in close collaboration with the VP Legal of the Business Area Supply Chain and collaborate with Group Legal, Insurance & Regulatory Affairs for legal and regulatory matters as well as topics relevant to insurance

Your profile

• Outstanding legal expertise, demonstrated by excellent exams
• At least five years of professional experience in a commercial law firm or an internationally oriented company with a focus on commercial law, ideally in the industry of supply chain, intralogistics, machine manufacturing
• Experience in negotiating agreements with multinationals and customers in general
• Basic understanding of the key tax, finance, compliance, export control, insurance and protection of personal data implication of an agreement
• Ability to conduct complex negotiations
• Business-fluent English skills
• Goal orientation, ability to work in a team, and negotiation skills
• A communicative personality with a confident demeanour
