Your role in our team:
As Service Sales Specialist, you will develop, price, present and negotiate service solutions throughout the customer lifecycle. Your scope will include maintenance contracts, spare parts strategies, remote support, modernization and retrofit projects, lifecycle extensions and operational improvement initiatives.
You will act as a bridge between customers, service operations, engineering and commercial teams, converting technical and operational requirements into feasible, competitive and commercially sustainable proposals. You will also contribute to new service business and the renegotiation and development of existing agreements
Key responsibilities:
• Develop complex service proposals covering maintenance agreements, remote assistance, spare parts, modernization, retrofit, lifecycle extension and technical upgrades.
• Analyze customer operations, installed-base needs and contractual requirements to identify solutions that improve availability, performance and total cost of ownership.
• Translate technical requirements, operational constraints and customer priorities into clear commercial offers with well-defined scope, assumptions and exclusions.
• Build pricing and commercial models in coordination with service delivery, engineering, purchasing, finance and legal teams.
• Assess technical, operational, contractual and commercial risks and define appropriate mitigation measures.
• Review requests for quotation, tenders and service specifications, identifying key requirements, evaluation criteria, dependencies and deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributions and ensure proposals are accurate, consistent, compliant and submitted on time.
• Maintain proposal documentation, versions, approvals, assumptions and customer correspondence.
• Support commercial negotiations and the renegotiation of existing service agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on service strategy, maintenance concepts, operational risks and asset lifecycle management.
• Build productive relationships with customers while working closely with field sales, customer service, engineering, project management and other internal departments.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor service offerings and relevant pricing approaches.
• Use proposal outcomes, customer feedback and business performance indicators to improve future offers and ways of working.
Your Profile:
• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial services, intralogistics, automation, maintenance, technical sales or a comparable B2B environment.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, costing and negotiating complex technical and commercial service proposals.
• Good understanding of maintenance concepts, service contracts, industrial operations and asset lifecycle management.
• Ability to understand technical information and convert it into structured, persuasive and commercially robust proposals.
• Strong organizational, analytical and prioritization skills, with consistent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP, CRM and document management tools.
• Solid written and spoken English.
