Global Vice President, Partner Ecosystems


We are looking for a Global Vice President to head the Partner Ecosystems team at Körber, which is charged with identifying, establishing, and cultivating business relationships with industry-leading companies in order to increase revenue and accelerate the achievement of business goals. This team is responsible for sales, services, consulting & technology partners, with a particular focus on evolving relationships from tactical/opportunistic to programmatic & strategic in nature.


Körber is investing heavily in building out its GTM partnership organization in 2022; this is a key, revenue-generating leadership role that works closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Operations, and Technology and Finance teams.

With the support of regional teams, the Global Vice President of Partner Ecosystems will be responsible for evaluating and recruiting new partners, developing top-to-top relationships, negotiating key commercial agreements, and driving joint sales success. This role includes driving execution across Körber’s partner programs, partner marketing, and partner enablement in order to increase partner participation and engagement. Additionally, you'll be tasked with maturing the overall Körber partner organization and closing gaps in resources & capabilities.


Your role in our team

  • You will lead Körber’s partner organization globally and be responsible for achieving sales targets & strategic objectives set forth for the organization 
  • You will define, roll out and continue maturing the Körber global partner program
  • You will nurture top-to-top relationships with and manage Körber’s newly developing global strategic alliances in close collaboration with Körber’s executive leadership team
  • You will apply innovative and critical thinking to synthesize an understanding of the market and customer needs in order to identify business growth opportunities through collaboration with partners
  • You will spearhead research efforts on our target partners to understand the existing partner landscape and identify key decision-makers, and market dynamics
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with various members of our organization including Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Operations, Technology, and Finance
  • You will define and align strategic go-to-market plays with partners
  • You will stimulate demand and influence existing opportunities in the pipeline
  • You will support the development of resources & programs to onboard & enable partners
  • You will help to roll out infrastructure, processes, and procedures to enable scalable and sustainable growth via partners
  • You will ensure cross-organizational communication and education about Körber’s partner ecosystem
  • You will influence internal teams to mobilize resources and drive collaboration between direct sales teams and partner teams
  • You will elevate partner commitment & drive toward global strategic alignment
  • You will showcase your measurement and tracking skills by helping to assess partners' annual performance in an effort to nurture revenue growth


Your profile

  • You have 10+ years of experience in partnership management, with a focus on business development through strategic alliance partners
  • You have a demonstrated track record of achieving & surpassing sales targets with the help of the partner ecosystem
  • You have experience transforming a low maturity partner ecosystem into a high maturity global one, backed by a partner program 
  • You have experience working with Tier 1 Global Outsourcers & SIs as well as Strategic & Operational advisory firms
  • You have robust strategic skills, and the ability to identify and assess key points, and implications, and make recommendations toward growing the partner ecosystem
  • You have outstanding relationship-building and influence leadership skills working with internal and external parties
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive successful results in a fast-paced international environment with white space
  • You have strong business acumen
  • Experience working in the Supply Chain industry is strongly preferred
  • You have a strong external network of relationships in relevant industries
  • You have a bachelor's or master’s degree
