We are seeking a social media manager to join us in our unique journey transitioning 12 leading global supply chain companies into a single brand: Kӧrber Supply Chain.

We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual to lead our strategic social media efforts. Through campaigns, advertising, employee advocacy, influencer marketing and beyond, the social media manager will help us create a thriving brand. The individual will work closely with global field marketing teams, our digital experience team, graphic designers, account managers, sales and other internal stakeholders to create an interactive and compelling online community that will promote leads, enhance customer and partners relations, and create brand advocates worldwide.

 

Tasks

A new role to our organization, the social media manager will pave the foundation for our entire strategy. This includes outlining goals, defining audiences, recommending and managing the platforms to empower our globally growing B2B business, experience with the right tools to drive ROI for our programs, creative flare that resonates with our stakeholders, and successfully leading the execution and collaboration to make this all a reality.

 

Specifically:

  • Develop social media campaigns to increase awareness of and engagement with our brand, all while positioning us as relevant thought leaders through our social channels.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our digital experience team to optimize SEO and to increase and convert traffic via landing pages, webinar registrations and beyond through social media.
  • Integrate social media with our content strategies – determining the strongest content topics and formats to fit our niche on various social channels
  • Work closely with global field marketing teams to develop successful social media campaigns and advertising initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Train and consult wide array of team members, from entry-level campaign specialists to sales executives to C-levels, on the best practices for and possibilities with social media in their respective roles.
  • Develop strong rapport with our global account managers, sales, pre-sales and businesses sales associates to successfully nurture existing, new and prospective customer relationships with social media at any stage.
  • Keep teams up to speed on and implement relevant social media and other digital trends into daily activities and broader strategies. This spans tools, channels, design, consumer behaviours, and beyond.
  • Develop detailed performance reports tied to our bottom line including KPIs and benchmarks such as audience/community growth, engagement, content reach, conversion rates, leads generated and beyond to measure success.

 

Along with the strategic elements above, the social media manager will be responsible for tactics pivotal to the daily and overarching success of our program.

 

  • Oversee and/or act as administrator of company channels
  • Finalize migration strategy of existing social media accounts of 12 global brands into one
  • Determine opportunities to integrate social media within our existing technology stack to automate processes and enhance reporting
  • Create and implement corporate social media guidelines and relevant trainings for marketing and sales teams
  • Identify and manage audiences – customers, prospects, partners, employees and other influencers
  • Launch and oversee global employee advocacy program
  • Act as our “community manager” – engaging in conversations and working closely with marketing, sales, account managers, and other leaders to interact with audiences and various stakeholders.
  • Implement a content editorial calendar and lead monthly strategy calls to manage, draft and schedule posts with broader marketing teams.
  • Create and manage an online review funnel with our global field marketing teams

 

Qualifications

  • Engaging, clear and succinct copywriting
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of standard social media platforms for B2B communications (emphasis on LinkedIn). Extra consideration for experience w/ Xing and WeChat
  • Basic experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator/Campaign Manager
  • Creativity
  • Content syndication
  • Fact checking and research
  • Effective communication in written, video or audio formats.
  • Basic design skills (photography, graphic design, or videography. This includes tools such as, or similar to, InDesign, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Powtoon and beyond.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and marketing research
  • Understanding of traditional and digital marketing
  • Thorough understanding of social media metrics
  • Experience with planning, curation and development tools (Oktopost, HooteSuite, etc)
  • Ability to work with various cultures, time zones of global colleagues
  • Acts as both a leader and teammate
