VP Field Marketing North America

The VP Field Marketing for North America (NA) will report to the Chief Marketing Officer with a dotted line to the regional Chief Executitve Officer NA. This position will be part of the Global Marketing Team which leverages worldwide marketing activities, as well as the cross-functional NA Leadership Team to drive improved market awareness, business growth and customer success in the region.

As our ideal candidate, you will be candidate both “hands-on” and “big-picture” focused, and a well-rounded marketing professional. You must also be able to effectively interface with prospects, partners, customers, sales, marketing, product development and external vendors. 

Your role in our team

  • You will define go-to-market strategies and tactics for new and existing software products and services, leveraging global programs and activities.
  • You will develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads in North America, and build a strong process for lead and opportunity management. 
  • You will enhance a strong communications database with key influencers and decision-makers at the group, business unit and executive levels in defined target markets.
  • You will drive inititiaves to recruit and retain talent for the organization.
  • You will Collaborate with target partners on strategies and plans to increase joint revenues and market share.
  • Create installed base marketing strategies and activities to ensure customer retention, reference-ability and solution penetration.
  • Maximize synergy within the Global Marketing organization and NA organization to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Perform business impact analyses of marketing assets to drive continuous improvement.

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise software companies, selling value-add software and services solutions to high-end customers.
  • At least 5 years enterprise product/solutions marketing & sales experience focusing on the various marketing activities outlined above.
  • Experience in the logistics / supply chain industry is a big plus; more important is the ability to quickly absorb new information about our technologies and solutions and apply it to select target markets.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple ongoing activities, meet aggressive timelines and deliver clear results to ensure respect of marketing across the organization.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, and ability to work within an international environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to present strategic information to large groups of professionals inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to strategically plan, develop and implement tactics and activities in multiple locations.
  • Ability to lead independently, while working collaboratively with all levels of employees and customers in a global matrix management environment.
  • Must have a Bachelors degree, with higher education and professional certifications encouraged
