Your role in our team

  • You will coordinate with company executives, sales and marketing professionals, engineers and system architects reviewing current market trends and proposing new business ideas to improve revenue.
  • You will manage both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
  • You will take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • You will identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • You will develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
  • You will assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies.
  • You will track performance, and report metrics
  • You will build and maintain a strong relationship with the client
  • You will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed
  • You will bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients
  • You will coordinate and collaborate with other businesses and functions to plan and execute global account strategies
  • You will develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and the company
  • You will develop a complete understanding of key account needs
  • You will service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • You will partner with the customer to the extent that you are immersed in the operations of the customer and become an expert
  • You will analyze client data to provide customer relationship management
  • You will lead all aspects of the development of strategies for profitable penetration into new or existing market segments
  • You will monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques

 

Your profile

  • You possess the right balance of Business Development and Sales Engineer experience with the ability to acquire an in-depth knowledge of products and systems being sold
  • You have demonstrated success in effectively managing in a complex, conceptual, multi-stage selling environment
  • You have proven success in the identification, negotiation, and closing of deals that are profitable and that minimize exposure to risk for Körber Supply Chain
  • You have proven innovation in generating and leading implementation efforts of total solutions (product/services, 3rd party alliances) and market opportunities
  • You have excellent communication, organizational, presentation and negotiation skills
  • You have a commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to build solid client relationships as a trusted partner
  • You are an advanced user of presentation tools (e.g. MS PowerPoint) and able to present to a variety of different audiences including C-Level executives
  • You have experience with tracking sales leads utilizing a CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • You must be willing to travel (50+%)
  • You have experience in marketing and business development for Operations personnel up to C-level executives
  • You have experience leading people in a Sales environment
  • You must be legally authorized for employment in Canada.

  • Your annual base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,000 - $140,000 (CAD) at the time of posting and includes a maximum bonus of 35%.
