Business Analyst

The Business Analyst (CPM – Commercial Project Management) supports the financial and operational success of project-based work at Körber. This role manages project financials, to include performance tracking, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in ERP systems (especially SAP), and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

 

 

Your role in our team

 

  • Own end-to-end project financial management, driving financial and operational performance across products, services, and support
  • Develop and maintain project financial frameworks (order intake, WBS) to enable accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Monitor and analyze project performance, KPIs, and financial metrics, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Ensure month-end close accuracy, including cost allocation, invoicing completion, and revenue recognition
  • Drive financial governance, compliance, and internal controls aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage customer billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project milestones and revenue realization
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collections, including reporting, aging analysis, and cross-functional review cadence
  • Review and approve vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project financial objectives
  • Maintain SAP/ERP data integrity, including project setup, purchasing coordination, and financial documentation
  • Support project operations and financial execution through accurate time capture, reporting, and system updates

 

 

Education and Experience Qualifications

 

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a project-based environment with a focus on project controlling, financial analysis, or accounting
  • Strong understanding of project controlling, financial management, contract management, and supply chain principles
  • Proven ability to support multiple projects and cross-functional teams, partnering with Project Managers and business leaders
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and resolve complex financial issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong prioritization and ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP preferred) and strong technical aptitude
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with emphasis on data analysis and reporting
