The Solution Consultant (L4) will manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, test, and implement Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions using Blue Yonder WMS or similar supply chain execution platforms. This role will apply structured problem solving to deliver customized solutions and build trusted relationships with customers.The role leads complex workstreams, manages risk and change control, and mentors junior consultants.
Your role in our team
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resource plans, and project documentation
- Provide timely status updates and approve time sheets
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops and translate business requirements into functional and technical designs
- Produce design documents, configuration specifications, test plans, and related materials
- Facilitate working sessions with internal teams and customers to explain, configure, develop, debug, and troubleshoot solutions in supply chain execution systems based on design documents or documented customer needs
- Lead teams in delivering client demonstrations, including functional applications and test solutions, to meet customer requirements
- Train customer stakeholders and end users on system functionality and standard operating procedures
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements when working in warehouse environments, including required PPE and incident or near-miss reporting
- Own project governance, risk management, and change control; escalate issues and drive resolution with customer leadership
- Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare; ensure defect triage and SLA adherence
- Review and approve functional designs, test strategies, and estimates produced by team members
- Mentor and provide day-to-day direction to L3 consultants and project resources
- Partner with Sales and PMO on SOWs, change orders, and resource planning as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in engineering, supply chain, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of four years of experience leading or working on multiple top-tier Warehouse Management System implementations
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Effective stakeholder engagement and customer communication
- Planning, prioritization, and deadline management with minimal supervision
- Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead customer requirements workshops and translate business requirements into functional and technical design documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Project, and Excel or similar
- Hands-on configuration knowledge of a top-tier WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar) across receiving, order processing, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
- Experience with integrations between ERP, OMS, TMS, and WCS in warehouse environments
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and issue investigation
- Familiarity with RF devices, voice-picking systems, and material handling equipment
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical serialization and track-and-trace practices
- Experience using issue tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar)
- Willingness to travel as required (15-35%)
