Join our team at Körber Supply Chain! Together we are responsible for our global architecture strategy and work closely with other architecture teams to have a cohesive process for defining software architecture through all our products.




Your role on our team

  • You define the technical direction of data management for our platform and products.

  • You lead technical designs; provide oversight for design implementations and schema.

  • You own architectural roadmaps for supported teams; actively contribute to the product roadmap in collaboration with program leadership.

  • You help design applications that are secure, scalable, and robust based on business needs

  • Hands-on work with Developers to implement solutions for Roadmap and Reference Architecture

  • Lead the design of interoperable supply chain data repositories with a focus on security and compliance.

  • Create information solutions covering data security, data privacy, data governance, metadata management, and multi-tenancy

  • Provide & Implement solutions for data transformation and data curation

  • Develop prototypes to evaluate and demonstrate architectural concepts and new technologies for software design.

  • You collaborate with technical and architectural leadership across teams within a program to ensure that technical designs align with the enterprise architecture and comply with product and industry practices and regulations; collaborate across programs to address dependencies.

  • You operate as an advisor to influence and lead the application of standard processes and practices within a program, including backlog refinement, planning, work estimation, solution demos, and software reviews.

  • You own and align non-functional requirements; with functional requirements, program standards, and enterprise architecture.

  • You ensure industry standards and best practices are applied in technical designs and code development.

  • You collaborate with product management to refine team and program backlogs by reviewing business cases, providing estimates, defining architectural enablers, and identifying and addressing implementation risks.

  • You mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other program members; give feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team

Your profile

  • You have two years of in-depth experience No-SQL (e.g., MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Couchbase)

  • You have two years of experience designing software on a public cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle (OCI) data services

  • You have extensive experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture

  • You have five years of experience developing or designing enterprise systems or commercial web-based systems

  • You have two years of experience building systems using enterprise technologies. NET/Java

  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering RBAC models and using rules engines to standardize application and user access controls (data access) is a plus

  • Familiar with scalable batch data processing technologies, ETL/ELT concepts, and Hadoop ecosystem frameworks.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of RDBMS and SQL

  • You have a working knowledge of containerized event-driven microservices (Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, Kafka) preferred

  • Experience working on complex software projects and ability to learn & retain complex business processes and technical details.

  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to present software architecture to a wide range of audiences

  • You have strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • You have strong collaboration skills.
